Kiki Voltaire has restored and re-upholstered this 1920s vintage chair for one of our customer.

The wood finish was entirely removed, re-stained and oiled. The old upholstery has been removed and replaced with a foam cushions. The chair is covered in Linwood Omega Poppy.

Fantastic restoration

We were in two minds whether to get rid of this old chair - the spring unit was damaged and the upholstery and cover had seen better days. But we really liked the deco style and asked Stephanie to explore options for restoration. She came up with some excellent suggestions for restoring the seat and its wooden frame, that met our budget. We’re really pleased with the result. The chair looks great and is really comfortable. So glad we chose to have it restored
